A Longstanding Scholarship Tradition Returns with the Miss City of Orange Pageant

One of Orange’s most recognizable community traditions returns this January as the Orange Chamber of Commerce Foundation hosts the Miss City of Orange Scholarship Pageant.

The evening will culminate in the crowning of Miss Orange 2026, a community-based scholarship recipient who serves as the official Ambassador of the City of Orange and Queen of the Orange May Parade. The pageant highlights leadership, poise, and community involvement, offering participants the opportunity to earn scholarships while representing Orange throughout the year.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and will be held at Chapman University Memorial Hall, located at One University Drive in Old Towne Orange. The venue has long hosted civic and cultural events, making it a fitting setting for an evening centered on community pride.

General admission tickets are available for $25, with a $15 student rate offered to those with valid identification. The pageant is open to the public and welcomes residents, families, and supporters who want to take part in celebrating local leadership and tradition.

As Orange continues to invest in its future, events like the Miss City of Orange Scholarship Pageant reflect the city’s commitment to education, service, and community representation — honoring both the achievements of its participants and the traditions that connect generations.
