Summer Herbal Class Series Returns to Orange Home Grown Educational Farm
Residents in the City of Orange can learn about the benefits and uses of seasonal herbs during the ongoing Summer Herbal Class Series at the Orange Home Grown Educational Farm.
Held on the second Friday of each month, the free class is led by local herbalist Michelle Guerrero, who shares her knowledge and passion for growing, harvesting, and using herbs in everyday life. Each session focuses on seasonal and locally available plants while providing practical information for gardeners, wellness enthusiasts, and anyone interested in herbal education.
This month’s class will highlight lemon balm, passionflower, and thyme, exploring their history, uses, and growing characteristics. The series has become a popular offering for community members interested in sustainable living, gardening, and connecting with the educational resources available through Orange Home Grown.
For Orange residents looking to expand their gardening knowledge or discover new ways to incorporate herbs into daily life, the class offers a welcoming and hands-on learning experience.
The Summer Herbal Class Series takes place Friday, June 12 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Orange Home Grown Educational Farm, located at 356 North Lemon St. in Old Towne Orange.
