OTPA 40th Anniversary Celebration Honors Old Towne Orange’s History
A milestone celebration is coming to the City of Orange as the Old Towne Preservation Association marks its 40th anniversary with a special event titled “Lights, Camera, Preservation!”
The celebration highlights four decades of work dedicated to preserving and protecting the historic character of Old Towne Orange. Known for safeguarding one of the largest historic districts in California, the organization continues to play a major role in maintaining the city’s architectural charm and cultural identity.
The event brings the community together to celebrate that legacy, offering a chance for residents to connect, reflect on the history of Old Towne, and support ongoing preservation efforts. Anniversary events like this often include themed programming and community engagement that reinforce the importance of protecting local history.
For Orange residents, it’s an opportunity to be part of a meaningful celebration that honors the past while supporting the future of the city’s most iconic neighborhood.
The OTPA 40th Anniversary Celebration takes place Sunday, May 17 at 3:30 PM at Orange City Hall, located at 300 East Chapman Ave in Orange.
