Orange Unified Leader Recognized Among 2025 Orange County Administrators of the Year

The Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) has named Heriberto Angel of Orange Unified School District as Student Services Administrator of the Year for 2025. Angel was honored for his dedication to supporting student wellness, attendance, and equity across the district, reflecting Orange Unified’s continued focus on nurturing the whole child through strong leadership and collaboration.

The recognition is part of ACSA’s annual Region 17 awards, which spotlight outstanding administrators across Orange County for their contributions to education and innovation. Winners will be celebrated at a special ceremony hosted by the Orange County Department of Education in May, recognizing their achievements in building safe, inclusive, and academically strong schools.
