Nominations Open for Orange’s 2025 Citizen of the Year
The community is invited to help recognize local leadership as the Orange Chamber of Commerce begins accepting nominations for the 2025 Citizen of the Year.
Each year, the program honors a resident whose service, involvement, and dedication have made a meaningful impact on the City of Orange. The recognition celebrates individuals who go beyond everyday participation — whether through volunteerism, civic engagement, philanthropy, or community leadership.
Residents are encouraged to think about neighbors, mentors, organizers, and volunteers who quietly make a difference. The award highlights those who strengthen the city through their time, energy, and commitment to others.
Nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, February 11, and the selected honoree will later be recognized as part of the city’s annual community celebrations.
Programs like Citizen of the Year help shine a light on the people who often work behind the scenes to support Orange. For many, it’s a chance to publicly thank someone whose efforts help make the community feel connected, welcoming, and proud to call home.
