Downtown Merchants Meeting to Discuss Key Issues Impacting Old Towne Orange

Business owners and community members in the City of Orange are invited to attend the upcoming Downtown Merchants’ Association Meeting, where local leaders and city staff will discuss several important topics affecting Old Towne.

Hosted by the Orange Chamber of Commerce, the meeting brings together members of the downtown business community alongside key City of Orange employees to share updates, concerns, and feedback related to current issues in the area.

Topics scheduled for discussion include community feedback surrounding the city’s paid parking program, the growing presence of First Amendment auditors in public spaces, and conversations around single-use items in restaurants. The meeting will be moderated by AJ Ricci and is intended to encourage open discussion between businesses and city representatives.

For Orange residents and business owners, meetings like this provide insight into how the city is navigating changes in Old Towne while balancing the needs of visitors, merchants, and the broader community.

The Downtown Merchants’ Association Meeting takes place Thursday, May 14 from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Weimer Room at Orange City Hall, located at 300 East Chapman Ave. in Orange.
