Disney & Pixar Artist Jørgen Klubien Featured at Hilbert Museum in Orange

Animation fans in Orange have a chance to experience the creative world behind some of Disney and Pixar’s most beloved films as Jørgen Klubien is featured in a special program and exhibition titled “Jørgen Klubien: At Disney and Pixar.”

The event highlights more than 50 original drawings and storyboards created by Klubien, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the art and storytelling process that shapes animated films.

Klubien, a Danish-born animator and storyboard artist, has contributed to numerous major animated productions over several decades, including work on films such as The Lion King, A Bug’s Life, Cars, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. His career spans both Disney and Pixar projects, making his artwork a rare window into the development of modern animation.

The exhibition allows visitors to see the early sketches and storyboards that helped shape iconic scenes and characters, giving fans and aspiring artists insight into how animated stories evolve from rough drawings to finished films.
