Apostille Certification Event Expands Access for City of Orange Residents

Residents in the City of Orange will soon have a convenient new way to authenticate their important documents for international use, as the Orange County Clerk-Recorder’s Office partners with the California Secretary of State to host a one-day Apostille Pop-Up Shop. The event, held at the County Administration South Building in Santa Ana, aims to bring critical state services closer to local communities—saving residents a trip to Los Angeles or Sacramento for paperwork processing.

Attendees can bring notarized or certified documents such as birth certificates, marriage records, or academic transcripts for same-day apostille certification. The service, often needed for international travel, business, or adoption purposes, will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with notary services available on-site for added convenience.

County Clerk-Recorder Hugh Nguyen noted that the initiative reflects an ongoing commitment to accessibility, affordability, and innovation in public service. For residents of Orange, this event not only provides practical relief but also demonstrates how local government can make essential services more reachable for families, students, and business owners alike.
