Popular Seafood Spot O Sea to Close in Old Towne Orange
A well-known dining spot in the City of Orange is preparing to close as O Sea, a popular seafood restaurant in Old Towne, has announced it will shut its doors later this month.
The restaurant, known for its sustainable seafood and modern coastal menu, has been a staple near the Plaza since opening in 2021. Over the years, it built a loyal following for its fresh dishes and commitment to environmentally conscious practices, becoming one of the more unique dining options in the area.
The closure comes following the sale of the O Sea brand to King’s Seafood Company, with plans to integrate the concept and leadership into the larger restaurant group. As part of the agreement, the Orange location will officially close rather than continue operating under the same name.
For many Orange residents, the news marks the end of a short but impactful chapter in the local food scene. The restaurant’s presence in Old Towne added a modern seafood option to the mix of longtime favorites and newer concepts around the Plaza.
O Sea will remain open through the end of the month, giving customers a final opportunity to visit before it closes.
The restaurant’s final day of service is expected to be April 30 at O Sea, located at 109 South Glassell St. in Old Towne Orange.
